Arm Lifting Surgery

Upper arms lose firmness and begin to sag due to overweight and aging. The objective of arm surgery is to get rid of excess fat and arm lifting surgery.

Liposuction is a surgery applied in case of locally stored fat and skin elasticity.

Arm lifting surgery is applied in case the elasticity of the skin decreases and the arms begin to sag for structural reasons or overweight.

How is it applied? Does it scar?

Although most patients complain for sagging arms, the skin elasticity is still in place. Liposuction, which is applied through 1-2 mm thin cavities on the upper arm, is sufficient. While applying liposuction to eliminate excess fat, the skin begins to resume firmness, the upper arm becomes thinner and more aesthetic.

If the skin has lost its elasticity, liposuction is applied and sagging skin is removed. A thin cut is opened on the upper arm. Arm lifting is s scarring operation. However the scar is in the form of a thin line and can be hidden in the inner side of the arm. The scar disappears to a great extent in 6 months to 1 year.

The surgery is performed under local or general anaesthesia. Surgery takes 1 hour on average.

How is the post-operative period?

The patient does not need to stay in the hospital. Stitches are removed in 10 days. The patient can feel stretched in the early period, and is recommended not to lift heavy objects.

Leg Lifting Surgery

Skin of the inner part of the legs (from the groin to upper kneels) begins to sag due to aging, genetic predisposition, frequent changes of weight or for reasons of structure and constitution standalone.

Most patients complain that their legs rub one another while walking, and that they cannot wear shorts, skirts since their legs are in a bad shape. These patients can undergo legs lifting surgery.

How is leg lifting surgery performed?

The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. A surgical cut that will be hidden in the groin is planned. The excess and sagging skin and subcutaneous skin are removed from the groin up to the inner part of the legs. The skin is tightened and excess fatty tissues are removed via liposuction.

How is the post-operative period?

The patient can feel stretched, sensitivity and pain for the first 6 to 12 hours of the surgery. The patient that has undergone a surgery can turn back to his or her work in 7 days. Stitches are removed in 10 days. Surgical scars begin to alleviate as from the second month and continues to disappear up to 1 year.
