Dr. Howard T. Bellin is the founder, director, and sole cosmetic surgeon at CosMedica. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been practicing cosmetic surgery for more than 30 years. He has taught at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and at New York Medical College, and has been Chief of Plastic Surgery at Cabrini Medical Center. Presently he devotes himself full time to CosMedica.

Dr. Bellin has had extensive surgical experience, having performed almost 5000 rhinoplasties (nose surgeries), 2000 breast enlargements, 1500 eyelid rejuvenations, 1500 liposuctions and thousands of other common procedures. In all, he has performed over 12,000 operations in his lifetime. In addition, he has developed several unique techniques, especially in the areas of nasal reconstruction, jaw enlargement and liposuction, and he has invented an instrument used in breast augmentation. His expertise extends beyond plastic surgery, as Dr. Bellin is also a sculptor and an inventor. He has been awarded eight U.S. patents and has another pending on a new type of breast implant. Dr. Bellin is listed in “Who’s Who in America,” “Who’s Who in Medicine,” “Who’s Who in the World” and “The Best Doctors in New York.”
