14- Hair Thickness And Dense Packing

Hair Thickness And Dense Packing

Density of the hair transplantation is a significant factor for a natural look.
When hair density diminishes by 40%, the hair loss becomes visible to the eye.

Normally, 1 cm2 has 60-70 grafts (120-140 strands) on average.

It is sufficient to transplant 40 grafts (80 strands) per 1 cm2.

In some cases, if the donor area, efficient and clear area is not wide enough, dense pacing procedure can be applied. To put it differently,  65 grafts are transplanted per cm2.

The angel and tools used for opening canals are very important as follicle units will be placed there. Desired hair density can be attained by using method of micro lateral cut.
