Before and After Hair Transplant

Before and After Hair Transplant

Hair transplants are nothing uncommon these days. Since stars like soccer coach Jürgen Klopp, singer Elton John, soccer stars like Wayne Rooney or Andreas Brehme, and TV star Kim Gloss have been very open having hair treatments, hair transplant has become mainstream since a long time.

With a hair transplant, the dream of thick hair is within reach for many. When looking for a provider, in addition to the price, before and after pictures are often crucial so that you can get a first impression of how the result might look on your own head.

The FUE hair transplant method
FUE hair transplantation is currently the most modern method for hair transplants. The abbreviation FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction, which describes the procedure itself very well. It is a minimally invasive procedure that is carried out in a few treatment steps.

The first treatment step:
First, the preliminary examination is carried out by the attending doctor. Here he gets an impression of how far the hair loss has already progressed and the condition of the scalp. Then the hair is shaved (in order to perform the procedure optimally, the hair must be extremely short) and the hairline is drawn.

Local anesthesia follows these two steps. If you are afraid of needles, you don’t have to refrain from a hair transplant. Dr. Levent Acar from the Cosmedica Clinic offers needle-free anesthesia, in which the local anesthetic is applied under the skin with a high-pressure jet injection system.

If the anesthetic works, the actual procedure starts. First, the grafts are removed from the donor area at the back of the head using a hollow needle. Depending on the quality of the hair, the grafts contain two to three hair roots. Then the hair channels in the receiver area are opened. At Cosmedica – Dr. Acar, sapphire blades are used here. These are gentler on the scalp, which shortens the healing time accordingly. This method is called the FUE Sapphire method.

The next step is inserting the grafts into the recipient area. Then the wound is treated.

At Cosmedica – Dr. Acar, in addition to the FUE sapphire method, Levent Acar also uses the DHI sapphire method – a further development of the FUE sapphire method. The special thing about this method is that the hair channels are opened with a special micro-sapphire blade and the grafts are inserted with a DHI implanter. In this way, the direction of growth can be determined even better.

The DHI Sapphire hair transplant shows off entirely in a before and after comparison. The results of DHI Sapphire are very high, with thick hair and the success rate is extremely high. If you opt for such an intervention, nothing is standing in the way of full hair.

The same excellent and convincing before and after results are of course also achieved with hair transplants for women.

Beard transplant
A thick beard is a “must-have” for almost every man today. But not everyone naturally has strong beard growth. There are very different reasons for this. But with a beard transplant, you can fulfill your dream of a full lumberjack beard. The procedure is carried out by Dr. Acar with the modern FUE technique. The before and after results are just as convincing here.

Hair transplant before and after
To achieve the optimal “after” in a hair transplant, however, some rules must be observed. The head, especially the scalp, is the “no-touch zone” for the first five days immediately after the procedure.

The recipient area in which the grafts were used must not come into contact with anything. Scratching is also absolutely forbidden – even if it itches so much!

Every physical effort must be avoided in the first four weeks. The same applies to swimming pool visits, saunas, and direct sunlight. After about 3 to 5 months, the “new” hair begins to grow. The completely finished result is then certain after about a year.

Thanks to the all-inclusive prices offered at the Cosmedica Clinic, you can also calculate the costs precisely. The procedure is of course carried out with the highest medical standards.
